The City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations equips you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform inspection and testing on electrical systems professionally.

This is one of the best inspection and testing courses for experienced electricians, and is suitable for individuals who want to progress to any of the following or similar:

• JIB grading as an Approved Electrician status
• The NICEIC Electrical Contractor status
• NAPIT’s Electrical Inspector Scheme

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and hold relevant level 3 electrotechnical qualifications to enrol on this City & Guilds 2391 course. Our inspection and testing course covers the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors across a range of topics including:

• Safe isolation
• The requirements for completing inspections and how to confirm the safety of a system
• How to safely test and commission electrical installations
• How to understand and interpret results 
• How to produce condition reports.

The electrical inspection and testing course is assessed by a two-hour multiple-choice exam, a short written exercise, and a practical assessment.
