Essex Electrical Training Gold Card Course

Our fantastic Gold Card Course includes all of the essential City & Guilds qualifications required to become a fully qualified electrician.

The Gold Card is the highest qualification on offer in the electrical industry and is evidence that an electrician meets the JIB Gold Card requirements and has undertaken specialist competency-based training which blends technical theory with practical assessments.

The Gold Card is essential for electricians who want to work on construction sites or in commercial settings, or to work independently without supervision.

Course Format

Our full-time Gold Card Course gives you the opportunity to complete the classroom-based qualifications in only 16 weeks (full-time), followed by the NVQ Level 3 which is a work-based qualification.

Qualifications Included

Our ‘Gold Card Course’ is made up of the following City & Guilds courses which run consecutively:

• City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2382-22 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (18th Edition)
• City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
• City & Guilds 2357-44 Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (including AM2)
